The Los Al family is heartbroken at the sudden passing of a friend and devoted family man, Stanley Guyness. Stanley was a kind and loving soul.
Stanley was a Griffin and graduated from Los Alamitos High School in 1996. Stanley was a member of the Los Al Football team. While at Los Al, Stanley was decorated with many honors, including being recognized as the best wide receiver in the nation. He was named an All American by Parade, Super Prep, Bluechip and Schutt Sports, amongst other high honors. Stanley went on to play football at USC where he also earned his Bachelor’s degree.
He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Meg and four outstanding children, Zyanya, Sanaa, Samori and Rocky. Stanley is also survived by his brothers Austin and M-jomo. Rocky and Samori are currently attending schools in Los Alamitos Unified. Sanaa graduated from LAHS in 2023.
Stanley’s character and friendship amongst his peers were undeniably the best! He had a heart of gold and for all of those who knew him, he made them better. Stanley will be loved and missed.
