Join our 3D Art Summer Class for elementary kids! Students will create fun sculptures and projects using cardboard, paint and other fun art supplies- learning basic 3D techniques. It’s a creative and hands-on experience that helps develop imagination and fine motor skills while making unique art to take home!
Learning American Sign Language at a younger age is great for development, with students growing their vocabulary while learning a new language! Besides the fun that learning ASL through songs and games entails, understanding a different community will promote empathy and a broader worldview. Students will have a blast learning basic and fun signs, and they will be sure to take these skills home with them, to other classrooms, and beyond!

Students will be taught about other people and their cultures to instill compassion and understanding in young learners. Students will be immersed into a captivating journey through diverse traditions, celebrations/holidays and arts around the globe. This class will inspire a love for multicultural learning.

Students will explore the life and history of each artist, as well as the geography for each. Students will learn about each artist’s techniques while exploring various textures, colors and enhancing their fine motor skills. We will engage and create a project inspired by and relating to each master artist. In Art there are no right or wrong pieces, only the joy of creating. Within each of us there is an Artist in Us All!!
Get ready for a colorful, fun-filled summer of creativity! In Summer Art Explorers, young artists will explore a world of imagination through painting and drawing! Each class is packed with exciting hands-on projects where students will experiment with vibrant colors, different textures, and unique materials. This class is perfect for budding artists who love to explore their creativity and express themselves in new and exciting ways. Get ready to make new friends, learn new skills, and, most importantly, have FUN while discovering the magic of art!
Summer T-Ball classes for kids are an engaging way to learn baseball fundamentals. These sessions teach batting, throwing, and running bases through playful methods, making it fun for the kids. It’s a great way to get young ones active and interested in sports!

We will teach your child the skills they need for both on and off the court, to be a better student athlete. Students will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, dribbling and rebounding. Athletes learn new basketball skills along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork and responsibility.

To obtain knowledge about breakdancing while also developing their own personality and establish confidence. Students will understand the value of discipline and hard work while having fun and dancing with others.

This fun and energetic class is perfect for young cheerleaders in kindergarten through 2nd grade! Kids will learn the basics of cheerleading, including simple cheers, jumps, and dances, while building teamwork and confidence. At the end of the clinic, cheerleaders will have the opportunity to showcase their new skills in a fun performance for friends and family!

Welcome to “Colorful Creations,” a vibrant summer enrichment art class where young artists will embark on a journey of creativity and exploration! In this class, students will use a variety of mediums to create fun and imaginative art projects. Some projects will be inspired by stories we read together, while others will connect to other subjects and personal experiences. Throughout the course, students can expect to stay busy with hands-on activities, take creative risks, and most importantly, have fun.

In this class, students can expect to learn how to write different comic strips that will explore their creative side. Students will learn the importance of character choice, word choice, and the purpose in which they write. In addition, students will come to understand how comics began while learning different events in history and science in which they have been used. Students will look at different stylistic choices that famous comic book/strip authors use to pull in their readers. This will help students in writing, reading, speaking, and communicating.

Students will learn to read, make and follow a simple recipe for a snack, salad or other food item in class that they can duplicate at home for their after school cravings or as a simple meal to impress their family.

An age-appropriate fitness class that gets kids moving, builds balance and coordination skills, and instills the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle. During class kids will learn fitness through games, obstacle courses, as well as speed, agility, and quickness drills. Each week the class will follow a basic format while the activities change. Our emphasis is teaching kids that fitness is fun!
Students will dive into the imaginative world of Eric Carle through hands-on art and music activities. Using Carle’s colorful illustrations and rhythmic patterns, students will explore the connections between visual art and sound. They will create art projects inspired by Carle’s books and use music to bring their creations to life.

In this class, students will develop foundational writing and public speaking skills by creating narrative stories. Students will be taught how to add details to stories through graphic organizers and creative writing assignments. Students will work independently as well as collaboratively to create original stories that correlate with common core.

Taught by David Robles a former Sur La Tab cooking Instructor, he brings his passion for cooking and vast experience and knowledge with each and every lesson. These kids cooking classes offer a fun and engaging way for children to learn basic cooking skills, explore new recipes, and develop healthy eating habits, all while having fun in a hands-on, interactive environment.

Join us for a ROAR-some summer adventure with this Dino class! Students will go on an exciting journey back to the age of dinosaurs. Learn amazing dino facts, participate in fun fossil digs, create dino crafts, and enjoy interactive storytime and games. In addition to land-based dinos, we will explore the vast oceans and seas that dinosaurs swam in, as well as learn about dinosaurs that flew! Come dig, discover, and have a roaring good time!
Ready. Set. Hike! This fun and energetic class introduces young athletes to the basics of flag football, focusing on teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development. Through friendly drills and exciting games, kids will learn how to throw, catch, and run with the ball, all while staying active and having fun. Perfect for beginners, this camp promotes fitness, confidence, and a love for the game in a safe, supportive environment.
Learning French opens up a world of opportunities for children! By enrolling in our summer French class, your child will not only develop valuable language skills but also gain a deeper appreciation for the French culture. French is spoken in over 30 countries, making it a great asset for future travel, academic success, and career opportunities. The engaging and interactive class ensures that learning is fun, helping your child to build confidence in speaking and understanding a new language. Give your child the gift of learning this new language this summer with a native from France! Your child will learn -or review- in depth: French pronunciation sounds, phonetics, sentences building with easy vocabulary and verbs (Greetings, numbers, colors, food, animals, sports, and more)..throughout activities such as games, songs or fun worksheets.
From growing our own plant to bring home to being introduced to the concept of chemical reactions with the excitement of watching a “volcano” erupt, the focus of this class will be hands-on FUN. We will explore building strategies, make crafts (sometimes even thematic snacks!) , explore outdoor activities, and play games – all allowing your child to discover innovative approaches to solving problems while being creative and having fun. We’ll engage in projects that introduce and reinforce STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) concepts through creative materials, allowing students to learn through inquiry, exploration and play.
This cooking class is a fun interactive experience where children learn to prepare simple and delicious dishes. Kids will learn basic cooking skills, such as chopping, measuring, and mixing, while fostering creativity and teamwork. It’s a hands-on activity that also helps kids develop a love for cooking and an understanding of nutrition. The class focuses on kid-friendly recipes, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.
This kids’ beginner golf class will introduce young golfers to the fundamentals of the game, focusing on putting, chipping, pitching, and the full swing, while also teaching basic rules and etiquette in a fun and engaging environment.

This Beginning/Intermediate Gymnastic class will introduce your child to the exciting sport of gymnastics! Our program will teach your child stretching, locomotor skills, and basic gymnastics skills on the vault, bars, balance beam, and floor. Your child will improve coordination, strength, and developmental skills in a fun and safe environment. Gymnasts will be challenged with skill progressions as they advance in their abilities. 



In this class, students will acquire basic vocabulary and grammatical structures that will allow them to engage in basic and daily conversations in Spanish. We will focus on high frequency vocabulary, which supports fluency. Students will acquire the language through personalized and engaging activities, such as student-centered conversation, songs, acting, compelling stories, and games. Essential vocabulary and grammar will be presented slowly, in context, and with visual, auditory and kinesthetic supports to make it comprehensible and accessible to all students.

This class will focus on bully prevention and self-defense, while helping students gain confidence in their physical abilities using Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This is a grappling style of martial art where children will learn to use takedowns and positional control to protect themselves. Our goals are to learn safety techniques, get/stay in shape, build coordination and strength, gain better focus and have fun! Classes will be divided into conditioning/general warm up, skill and techniques specific movement drills, technical instruction and practice, and conceptual mat chats. See you on the mats!

 

Children will be exposed to the Soundabet phonics program and Houghton Mifflin Alpha-friends through writing activities, music and movement, and hands-on activities. This course gives your child a head start in reading, which can lead to kindergarten success. It also builds confidence in your child, which will ease some first day of kindergarten jitters.

Children will also engage in developmentally appropriate activities that will promote mathematical higher thinking skills.  Your child will take part in fun and enjoyable large movement games and art activities that address kindergarten math goals. This course gives your child a jump-start with mathematical skills that include the following: counting, number recognition, patterning, adding, subtracting and more!

Students will encounter daily activities that will prepare them for first grade success.  Students will participate in C.G.I. math problems with varying number sets and participate in Writer’s Workshop where they will learn to write, revise, edit and publish their own stories.

Students will encounter daily activities that will prepare them for second grade success. They will use manipulatives to solve and discuss CGI math story problems, participate in guided reading groups, participate in Writers Workshop with an emphasis on adding details, editing and revising with a published story at the end of each week. First grade sight words, language conventions and math fast facts will be reviewed.

Students will be exposed to fundamental third grade concepts and skills so they are prepared for and continue their forward momentum towards 3rd grade success. The course will include lessons in reading, fast facts, C.G.I. and multiple writing activities that focus on paragraph development and descriptive language.

Kids of all ages learn self-discipline and respect in this physical fitness class. Basic Karate techniques will improve student strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination.

Young leaders, step into the lab! This summer, students will develop essential leadership skills in a fun and interactive environment. Through team-building games, creative problem-solving challenges, and hands-on projects, participants will learn how to communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and make confident decisions. The Leadership Lab is all about discovering strengths, encouraging teamwork, and inspiring kids to lead with kindness and creativity. Join us to build skills that make a difference both on and off the playground!

Kids love machines and will love creating their own Lego Engineering. Students will work hands on with Lego encouraging basic understanding of a wide variety of engineering concepts. Students will develop their fine motor skills, learn the value of organization, participate in teamwork activities and develop other life skills such as problem solving and keeping a positive attitude!

E3 DANCE is offering our unique dance enrichment program to students, which will focus on the dance movements of today’s popular line dances and the hip hop genre. E3 DANCE may also include some contemporary popular dances that kids enjoy. The class will not only focus on teaching dance choreography but also guide the students to grow and build confidence, creativity, teamwork and coordination through rhythmic movement and learning about the culture the music/dance comes from.. There will be a culminating dance performance at the end of the program. In addition to learning dance choreography, the kids will grow in social skills, physical activity, and a basic understanding of stage performance.
Enjoy nature while learning! In Little Green Thumbs you will enjoy gardening outdoors and learn all about plants. Topics covered include plant structure, the life cycle of a plant and different types of plants.
Do you have a child who loves gaming, sports, Legos or even just playing outside? In this class, we focus on what a child enjoys while fostering a foundational, hands on mathematical approach to learning. Using real world scenarios, students will use their creative skills to build and bring scale models to life using everyday materials and a growth mindset. Open to all math levels and abilities, this class will help your child to understand the connection between foundational math skills and how they apply to what they might not realize they love about math…Yet! Students will create a scale model of their choosing such as a playground or a car or a backyard tree fort built to scale. In the past, students have used cereal boxes, paper towel tubes, pieces of turf or carpet, etc. and then painted and decorated their scenes, like the scale model Mission Projects 4th graders create!
Your student will be immersed in the world of music this summer with the Intro to Music class taught by Keegan Hill. This class will introduce your musician to learning basic notes, solfege, various styles of music and instruments, and the importance of movement with music. The class will culminate in a presentation of some of the works that have been taught over the course of the class. This is a fun and exciting opportunity for your kid to learn what makes music so special.

This class is perfect for kids who love to sing, dance, and act and want to get better at it! We will start each day with fun warm-up games and team-building exercises, and then move on to our one-of-a-kind curriculum that includes self-esteem activities with Performing Arts Education! Rising Sun Pickleball covers a health & safety talk, followed by court rules and an exciting, fun game that uses building blocks to teach and foster: communication, coordination, teamwork, friendships and active lifestyles! We utilize the Kojima (Beau Kojima=Pro Teacher) culture and techniques to demonstrate seamless synergy on the courts.
In this creative and calming summer class, students will explore the art of photography as a tool for mindfulness, self-expression, and connection with the world around them. Each session invites young photographers to slow down, observe carefully, and capture the beauty in everyday moments—whether it’s the light filtering through trees, the texture of a leaf, or the joy in a friend’s smile. Students will learn basic photography compositions while engaging in mindful practices like breathing exercises and sensory walks. Cameras or camera phones (required for class) become a way to see with intention, encouraging focus, curiosity, and presence. *An iPhone/Android or Digital Camera is required for this class.

We’ll start by reading playful poems that spark our imagination and help us see the world in new ways. Then, we’ll try our hand at writing our own poems—using fun words, rhymes, and even our own drawings to bring our poems to life! You’ll get to create beautiful art to go with your words and even share your poems with the class through fun presentations. By the end, you’ll feel like a true poet, artist, and performer! In this class we will start by designing and building a unique puppet character. Students will learn the sculpture techniques to let their imaginations run wild in their original character designs. We will then write and produce a show with all the puppets we create. This workshop will explore sculpture, textile art, creative writing, and performance art.

Sew Much Fun: Summer Stitching Camp or Summer Embroidery Fun! (Grades 3-5)

“One, Two, Three, Sing” is for the budding beginner singer to explore their creative voice while learning to sing with others. Expect to learn singing basics, play music games, sing along to popular hits, and of course, have fun! The next step in your musical journey begins this Fall!

In this class, students will learn the lyrics to a handful of songs as well as choreography to go with each song. Students will also get the chance to freestyle dance and play team building games with their peers. At the end of the session, students will perform the songs and accompanied choreography they have learned. Chef Ollie will teach children about California food history, agriculture, gardening, cooking and safe food preparation. Children will make snacks and small dishes using fresh produce from local farmers markets and from garden harvests. All classes are peanut-free, however some ingredients may have been processed in the same facility that processes nuts. Tumbling class focuses on: fostering respectful and well-behaved listeners, building confidence and security in young athletes, improving endurance and strength, and building understanding of gymnastics fundamentals and technique— all while keeping the main goal in mind: having fun!

This course is perfect for the beginner ukulele player that is looking to start playing fun songs and wants to have fun playing! Fret board knowledge, string knowledge and note positions will be covered.

*Must bring a ukulele to class. Ukuleles can be bought for approximately $20 on Amazon.

Students in this upbeat class will learn vocal technique, basic music theory, as well as how to perform a song. Using both classic and contemporary songs as a guide, students will enjoy learning how to portray character and emotion, giving each song meaning. We will incorporate free-form dance to loosen up the body and strengthen the diaphragm. This is the perfect class for the child that loves to sing.



Students will learn the basic skills needed to participate in the sport of volleyball. The focus will be technique when passing (bumping), setting, serving, and hitting (spiking)! These skills will be applied while participating in drills and lead-up games.
