Michelle Boos-Stone was raised to be an advocate for education and thus she truly understands that there’s something special going on within the Los Alamitos Unified School District. As a proud parent at Lee Elementary she was President of the school’s 501c.3. nonprofit Project Leap for several years, where she created sustainable processes and programs for marketing and fundraising. Michelle is also an active PTA member and volunteer, and continues to support Lee Elementary school teachers whenever they need her assistance.
As a Board Member for LAEF, Michelle feels that part of her responsibility is to represent the parents of children in the school district, and to ensure that LAEF is hearing the voices of our children and parents …and their needs…out in the Los Alamitos community and beyond. Michelle also partners with Superintendent Sherry Kropp on special projects, such as graphically recording the Summer Leadership Advance for Principals and Staff.
Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the LAEF Board as a Business Strategy and Culture Change consultant and Owner/Principal of Five Elements Consulting Group. For 17 years she has worked with high-level corporate clients and educational groups all over the world and her passion is to develop leaders at every level.
A quote from Michelle: “At LAEF it’s our job to ensure that our children have the opportunities to grow and succeed at every level of their educational experience. We must take personal responsibility to set higher expectations for them, so that they then raise the bar for themselves. LAEF plants the seeds for educational growth in the Los Al District and gives students the opportunities they need to expand the possibilities for their future!”
