Kim Baldwin is new to the LAEF board and we are so happy to have her! Kim grew up in Rossmoor and attended Rossmoor Elementary, Oak Middle School and LAHS. After spending some time in Houston, Texas, she returned to live in Rossmoor with her husband, Stephen, and their son, Zachary.
Kim has spent the past 15 years of her career working as an employment law paralegal. Additionally she is passionate about giving back to the community. In Houston, Kim was the president of the Houston Metropolitan Paralegal Association and once she moved back to Los Al, she began volunteering her time in different roles, all benefiting the district. Kim was one of the inaugural board members of Friends of the CDC, which helps raise funds for the district’s preschool program. Currently, in addition to her role at LAEF, Kim is a member of LAUSD’s personnel commission, where she is following in the footsteps of her father, Ted Horn, who served on LAUSD’s Personnel Commission for 29 years. For relaxation, Kim enjoys camping and swimming, and is an avid reader.
